Ricardo Pacheco
Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and holds postgraduate degrees in Regional Law and Medical Law. He has been practicing law since 1997.
With nearly 30 years of experience, his practice focuses primarily on Criminal Law, Civil Law, and Family and Inheritance Law, having been involved in numerous high-profile cases.
In addition to his legal career, he has long been engaged in civic movements and humanitarian initiatives in the Azores and abroad, including campaigns in Peru and Africa. He served as Vice-President and Secretary-General of the Social Democratic Party of the Azores (2013-2016) and is currently President of Clube Desportivo Santa Clara. He regularly contributes to media outlets, combining legal practice with a commitment to social reflection.

Carolina Carreiro
A native of Ponta Delgada, she holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Forensic Legal Sciences from the University of the Azores (2024).
With 15 years of experience, she joined the firm as a partner in 2021, focusing mainly on Civil Law and Notarial Services. Previously, she practiced law independently and served as a lawyer for Novo Banco dos Açores for eight years, gaining solid experience in litigation and client advisory.
Alongside her legal practice, she maintains a strong involvement in the Azorean community through positions in local associations and volunteer work, and she also serves as a legal trainer in various regional institutions.

Brito Ventura
Graduated in Law from the Autónoma University of Lisbon (1999), he has completed several specialized courses in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, practicing in this field for around 25 years, with occasional work in Commercial and Corporate Law.
He is an associate member of Fórum Penal – Association of Criminal Lawyers, with a practice distinguished by experience and dedication to criminal defense.
In addition to his legal career, he has held public and political roles, including President of the Regional Jurisdiction Council of PSD/Açores (2017–2024), President of the Regional Fund for Cohesion and Economic Development (2021–2022), and Regional Director for Cultural Affairs (2022–2023) in the XIII Regional Government of the Azores.

Joana Rosa
Holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having begun her professional career as a legal advisor at USIP before completing her internship with the Portuguese Bar Association.
She specializes in Civil Law, with a particular focus on Probate Proceedings, Enforcement Actions, and Civil Liability, as well as in Administrative Offense matters. Her legal practice is characterized by a technical, rigorous, and results-oriented approach, always seeking effective solutions for clients.

Verónica Casimiro
Graduated in Law from Lusófona University of Porto and registered with the Portuguese Bar Association. She also holds a degree in History from the University of the Azores and a master’s degree in Environment, Health, and Occupational Safety.
She practices in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, and Civil Liability, focusing on the practical and efficient resolution of legal matters, both in and out of court.
She regularly collaborates with media outlets including Açoriano Oriental, Açores 9, Rádio Atlântida, and TSF, contributing legal analysis on current affairs.

Júlia Filipe
Holds both a Law degree and a Master’s in Law from Nova University of Lisbon, with a specialization in Social Law and Innovation. She is also a certified Conflict Mediator and co-author of the book “Casos Práticos, Direito do Consumo, Resolvidos”.
After completing her internship with the Portuguese Bar Association, she developed her practice in the areas of Labor Law and Civil Law, with particular focus on Enforcement Proceedings, Civil Liability, and Insolvency Law. Her legal approach is marked by technical precision and a commitment to practical and effective solutions.
She actively collaborates with regional media outlets, regularly publishing legal analyses and informational content, contributing to the legal literacy of the Azorean community.

Jorge Delfim
Graduated in Law from the University of Coimbra (1987) and admitted to the Bar in 1989, Jorge Delfim holds a postgraduate degree in Regional and Administrative Law and advanced training in Urban Planning Law, Civil Liability, and Criminal Law.
With over 35 years of experience, he practices in Civil, Commercial, Labor, Copyright, Urban Planning, and Public Procurement Law, also serving as a legal advisor to various companies and public entities. He is an accredited trainer by the Portuguese Bar Association in Civil Procedural Practices.
Actively engaged with the Bar Association, he has served in regional bodies and on the Editorial Board of its Bulletin, while also publishing several legal studies on specialized platforms. In 2024, he was awarded the medal for 35 years of professional practice.

João Baptista
Graduated in Law from the Lusófona University of Lisbon, he began his professional career at Ricardo Pacheco & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, where he completed his Bar Association internship and later joined the team as a lawyer.
He primarily practices in Criminal Law and Compliance, supporting organisations in implementing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies to prevent unlawful practices.
He holds postgraduate degrees in Economic and Financial Regional Law (University of the Azores/University of Lisbon) and Compliance for the Prevention of Corruption (NOVA School of Law), as well as specialized training in Anti-Money Laundering and Access to Justice from the Portuguese Bar Association.

Bianca Pereira
Holds a degree in Solicitorship from the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco and a Law degree from Autónoma University of Lisbon. She began her professional career at Ricardo Pacheco & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, S.P., R.L., where she completed her Bar Association internship and later joined the team as a lawyer.
She practices in the areas of Registry Law — Civil, Property, and Automotive — as well as Notarial Law, Probate and Inheritance, Contract Law, and Immigration Law, with a rigorous and solution-oriented approach.
In addition to her legal work, she regularly takes part in training programs and legal conferences, with a particular focus on forensic practice, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering, as well as Family Law, Criminal Law, and Children’s Rights.
